We accept walk in appointments at all times and will endeavour to have you seen as soon as possible. We will indicate on arrival a measure of time you may be required to wait.

Missed AppointmentsShould you need to make a cancellation, we would appreciate as much notice as possible so that the appointment can be offered to another patient. Patients who do not attend their Doctor or Allied Health appointments without notice will incur a fee, payable prior to their next appointment.

FeesHall Road Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. Fees may apply for appointments, minor surgical procedures, immunisations and medical reports.

Test ResultsIf the Doctor needs to discuss any results with you, you will be contacted via a text message, a phone call or a letter to arrange an appointment. If no discussion is required, you will not receive any notification.

ConfidentialityIn line with the National Privacy Principles, your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of the practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

Hospitals and ReferralsAdmission to hospitals and referrals to specialists can be discussed with your doctor as required. There may be some out of pocket expenses incurred with specialist visits, which you should discuss with your doctor. Referrals can be organised with your Doctor via telephone consultation or in the Clinic. Please call the Clinic or go to the “Book Now” tab at the top of this page. Our closest public hospital is Frankston Hospital.

Repeat PrescriptionsRepeat prescriptions can be organised via telephone consultation with your Doctor. Scripts for Opioids must be done with your regular Doctor. Please call the Clinic or go to the “Book Now” tab at the top of this page.

Wheelchair AccessThe Clinic is accessible by wheelchair. Should you have any special needs, please discuss them with the receptionist or your doctor.

ParkingThere is ample parking available immediately outside the Clinic.

Telephone CallsYou can book a telephone consultation via our “Book Now” tab at the top of the page to discuss your medical needs with your Doctor. Urgent phone calls will be directed to a Doctor immediately. In case of an emergency please call 000.

Cultural BackgroundA patient’s cultural or ethnic background can potentially impact on their health. Some illnesses are more prevalent in certain populations. For these reasons you may be asked about your background.

InterpretersTo get the most out of your consultation, we recommend the use of a trained interpreter if a patient has difficulty understanding English. If you would like access to an interpreter during your consultation, please give us 24 hours notice to make the necessary arrangements.

Patient FeedbackWe welcome your views of the practice, particularly on how we can improve our services. This can be done via email.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of the care you receive from this Clinic, please feel free to make an appointment with your Doctor or the Practice Manager to discuss the matter further and hopefully reach an amicable solution.
