Dr Ahmed Tilly
MBBS MRCGP FRACGP
Ahmed has worked as a GP in Australia for over 4 years, having moved from the UK. He trained at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed his General Practice training in Leicestershire (UK). Ahmed worked as a GP in the UK for nearly 2 years before moving to Melbourne. He has a certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Surgery awarded by The University of Queensland. Ahmed is interested in women’s health and is proficient in Implanon (contraceptive implant) insertion and removal. He is also keen on teaching and endeavours to pass on some of the knowledge gained from his mentors on to budding GPs.

Dr Chin Wong
Mb Bch MRCGP FRACGP DFFP
Dr Chin Wong has previously worked as a GP in the UK. He also worked as a lecturer in a medical university in Malaysia before coming to Australia. Chin is interested in Chronic Disease but enjoys all aspects of General Practice.

Dr Shamini Wiknesh
MBBS, FRACGP,DCH, CWH,ACCSCMS, ACCD
Shamini obtained her medical degree in Sri Lanka where she trained in General Medicine, Surgery and Cardiology. On moving to Australia she worked at several leading hospitals in Victoria covering various specialities successfully completing General Practice training in Victoria. She is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
She has been trained as a Paediatric Registrar at West Gippsland Hospital where she acquired further clinical skills working with children. In addition, she acquired skills training in women’s health successfully completing her Certificate. She is currently a shared maternity care affiliate with Peninsula health and Monash Health. As such she can assist with pregnancy follow-ups, along with the obstetrician and the midwife.
Being a skin cancer college accredited skin cancer doctor, Shamini is currently doing her fellowship (part 2) in skin cancer at the Skin Cancer College Australasia. She holds an Advanced Clinical Certificate of Dermoscopy together with the Advanced Clinical Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.

Dr Sumudu (Su) Upapitiya
MBBS, DRANZCOG, FRACGP
Dr Sumudu graduated in Sri Lanka in 2004. She has ten years’ experience in Sri Lanka before moving to Australia. She has been working in Australia since 2016. Dr Sumudu was trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Australia and was awarded a Diploma in Ob/Gyn by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ob/Gyn in 2017. She has also completed a Health Certificate of skin cancer training, Advanced Certificate of skin cancer medicine and Professional Certificate of General Dermatology. Dr Sumudu is a fellow of the RACGP. Her special interests are women’s health, dermatology and mental health.

Ganesh Ilango
Psychologist
Ganesh Ilango is our newest psychologist to join us at the clinic.
Ganesh has experience in working with a wide range of clients presenting with a myriad of concerns. Having worked at various settings including schools, universities and non-government organizations, Ganesh has also gained experience in administering a range of personality and cognitive assessments. Having studied and lived in multiple countries, he has experience in engaging and creating an impact on individuals from linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Ganesh has qualifications in MPsych (Counselling) and PGDip Psychology from Monash University and BA Psychology & Biology from Westminister College (USA).
Ganesh is fluent in Hindi as well as English.
Ganesh consults at Hall Road Medical Centre on Wednesdays.
Casey Cilia
Psychologist
Casey is a Member of Australian Psychological Society (APS), she has experience working within private practice and school settings, working with children, adolescents, families, adults and couples presenting with a variety of behavioural and emotional challenges.
Casey is a client-focused therapist who prides herself on being able to carefully select a treatment modality that is tailored to her client’s needs.
Casey is passionate about supporting clients in addressing current concerns and working collaboratively with the client to achieve their therapeutic goals.
Casey will be consulting on Saturdays.
